Here is a free CSV or Excel template you can use to record your personal possessions. Use it to create an inventory of the items in your home. The format is suitable for many insurance companies in case you need to make an insurance claim due to a fire, storm, flood, or other loss. If your insurance company requires different field names to accept a claim, the fields can be reordered and/or renamed to meet your insurance company’s claim requirements.
